My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Emily Cottage, and it exceeded all of our expectations. the good attitude shown towards my elderly parents by the owner, Juliet, made our stay truly special. the heating was exceptional, keeping us warm and cozy during our entire stay. the sitting area was beautifully furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. the dining table was not only elegant but also spacious enough for all three of us to enjoy a meal together. the patio and garden furniture provided a lovely outdoor space to unwind, and the free toiletries were a thoughtful touch. the washing machine was a convenient amenity that made our stay even more comfortable. the electric kettle in the well-equipped kitchen was a lifesaver for our daily tea sessions. the flat-screen TV with Netflix was a great source of entertainment in the evenings. the carpeted floors added a touch of luxury to the Victorian period property, while the parquet floors in certain areas added a charming contrast. Our favorite spot in the cottage was definitely the Teacups Tearooms, just a short walk away, where we indulged in delicious treats. the proximity to various dining options like Gemini's Pizza, Oliver's Fish & Chips, and Cacau Brazilian Patisserie made our culinary adventures even more exciting. Overall, our stay at Emily Cottage was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the impeccable service, cozy amenities, and charming atmosphere created by Juliet and her team. We will certainly be on the lookout for more properties owned by them in the future.
